RCV Designs is a passion project of Robert (Bob) and Cynthia, a husband and wife team (RCV) dedicated to creating unique woodworking products that make wonderful gifts.

Upon Bob's retirement in 2011, he inherited all his woodworking tools from his father.  Unfortunately, he didn't inherit the passion for woodworking. A few years into retirement Bob and Cynthia realized they needed a hobby and decided to turn one side of the garage into a small woodworking shop.

The learning curve was pretty steep, learning how to use and maintain the tools while also using the trial and error method to create some household items like a ladder shelf and a dartboard cabinet.

Then in 2014, Bob came upon a woodworking store that sold exotic woods that he had never seen before.   This store sparked his passion for woodworking and a new hobby.

Over the past 5 years, Cynthia and Bob have created unique and useful one of a kind wood craft items like charcuterie boards, serving boards, trivets, BBQ scrapers, etc by combining bright, exotic coloured woods and domestic hard woods.

​

Together, they enjoy designing and making handcrafted items that you can't buy in big box stores.  Their customers appreciate the uniqueness, quality and heart that they put into each item that they make.
